Well today the work was started here on our house, and surprise surprise, when taking down our gutters, the workers found a nest. Presumably a rats nest, doesn't that make you want to rest easily at night???

Okay, here is the start of the styrofoam on the house.

And the back too.!

And for a treat Matteo ate a cupcake that the neighbor sent over for him (I think I'd rather look at the rat's nest..hahah).

MORE SNOW!

Well of course there is more snow, it's WINTER!!! We woke up to more snow here on Tall Tree on Monday and with more snow, brought more FUN!! Matteo and Mommy headed out first, as Daddy had a conference call (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - boring!). Here is Matteo and Kitty playing in our snowy driveway!

Next to our delight, some friends dropped by! The two on the right are our married neighbors and with them are their two Japanese friends (who are visiting). And waht a delight they wanted to show off their American neighbors and of course Matteo whom everyone got a kick out of. We learned how to count to three in Japanese, though that information was only retained in our heads until our friends left, because as I sit here I cannot remember the words. Though Amy will be proud to know I can still count to 10 in tie-kwon-do (however you spell it)!

And our neighbor Patrick (3.5 yrs) came out to play as well. Here is Daddy pulling both boys down the road.

And lastly, goodbye dear friend.

Kudos

Kudos to our chicky Amy who selflessly cut off 10 inches of her hair and donated them to Locks4love.

We applaud your patience in growing out your hair for over 18 months Amy and commend your generosity. You are a true example of beauty.

color?

Which color would you choose if you were redoing the siding on your house (sans the blue shutters)!

Well Thursday brought 6 inches of snow here on Tall Tree! What a great day we had, we started out the morning by playing outside for two hours in the arctic chill!!! Brrrrrrrrr......but we bundled up, so no need to worry :-)

Even Walter enjoyed the snow.

And of course we don't go anywhere without our beloved Kitty. Please take note: Kitty did NOT bundle up, hence her eyes and nose are covered with snow from Matteo sticking her in the snow. All at once:::::poor kitty.

And yes, sadly, Matteo is not getting any smaller when it comes to his sled, nor is the sled getting any bigger. Oh well, he still enjoyed it with Kitty.

Oh What Fun, BUBBLES!!

It's been a bit quiet around here on Tall Tree, well with the arctic air coming and all (BRRRRRR...) so we were delighted to receive a package from Aunt Lois today. It wasn't the contents that delighted us (cookies, though delicious) as much as it was the bubbles inside! These packing bubbles kept Matteo busy for over an hour (I kid you not). Next Christmas, all we need is packing bubbles (take note santa!).

THANK YOU AUNT LOIS, MOMMY GOT TO EAT IN PEACE!

PS if you see the first 10 seconds of the video, you have seen the full 60 seconds (though there is a thank you to aunt lois at the end).
