zoorific!

Guess where we went today - - -

that's right the zoo!!!  Remember I told you we purchased a membership back in early September - well obviosly I want same to be used, so on this picturesque day we traveled a bit to the zoo!

We saw the above tigers at tiger mountain.  Below we saw the water the tigers swim in.

we rode a monorail for the first time ever!!  The monorail was about 20 minutes long and took us through about 40 acres of wild Asian animals.  One of the animals we saw was from Matteo's once favorite book: the skull alphabet book, the illustrators favorite (and it took Daddy quite some time to figure this skull out), was a babarusa.

For a ridiculous price Daddy, Matteo & chloe rode a camel (we needed gas money to get back hence I didn't ride!).  But seriously when else can one ride a camel? 

Matteo was more than excited to see his first totem pole - he spoke about it most of the trip after seeing it.

Always delighted to ride the carousel (yes Dolly is smiling).

And since we were so close we stopped off to visit Oma & Poppi Lou!

86 never looked  so wonderful! 

 And how did we do with the time change......all up by 5:30 AM - - hence it was no problem to leave the house at 8:30 for the zoo!!  Here's to your clock still ticking hahaha.  e.
