What on earth could have all these children (ages 10 and under) sitting so quietly and waiting patiently.....
well SANTA of course!
well SANTA of course!
Santa's arrival was met with much joy and happiness from the little ones...and with Santa comes lots of gifts that Mrs. Claus works hard on all year...... and let me tell you after the little one receive their toys, well the adults get a little something from Old St. Nick as well ....and it is no less than s t r a n g e! :-) Jules and I received a rather racy apron (as is customary - so when you come over you will see them all hanging in my garage for when I cook).
there are always musical instruments for the little ones, usually some blow up doll for Aunt Adrienne and Uncle Mike, this year I was gifted with gnomes and flamingos for our yard (recall the bunny that Matteo took home from Aunt Lois' house over the summer - well ever since then I have been promised a flamingo - and Santa delivered).
The food was outstanding - though sometimes having to chase Chloe & Matteo I find myself sampling more than indulging - - next year I'm going to have to hire a nanny !
And thus ended another Christmas Eve with our Dear Family and our semi-journey home began so we could all nestle in bed and prepare for Santa's eagerly anticipated arrival.
