What better day to get a tree, than a snowy one.

With the snow lightly continuing into Saturday, we decided to venture out and buy a Christmas tree. Now since it is less than a week before Christmas, Mommy was sure we'd find a deal like last year......bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz WRONG!!! Not only did we NOT find a deal, however I think we may have made an extra mortgage payment without relizing it (those Frasier Furs get you every time). But Daddy picked the "type" of tree and Mommy and Matteo picked the "actual" tree. Here is Daddy carrying in our snowy and wet Christmas tree. And this picture is 100% accurate, that tree camethisclose to hitting Matteo in the face (clearly Daddy was in charge......oh he only does right in Grandma's eyes---they should really live together --hahah).

Next Daddy, Mommy and Matteo took to the outside again while our tree melted (honestly) in the living room (4 large towels worth -soaking wet of water). I took this picture to show that our "house" outside is not just a summer house, but a winter house as well, hence worth the money. And Daddy, who is always the observant one, except when searching for a lost elephant in a grocery store (another story another day), pointed out to Matteo that the birds had been visiting Matteo's house and left behind their foot(?) paw(?) prints. Daddy is oh so smart.

Next, with Mommy not feeling well at all, Daddy and Matteo took to decorating the tree. Once again (recall our first snowman) Matteo is the foreman pointing out to Daddy which ornament goes "up high" and which ornnament goes "next to the house ornament." If you look close enough you can see Matteo's pointer finger, very foreman like.

Next, Matteo really got a kick out of the talking ornament from his cousins. WARNING: this is a minute long video, if you watch the first 15 seconds, you can get the gist of it, however with each progressive button pushing (when he can figure out which button to push haha), Matteo gets more and more animated.

And finally, Matteo is hoping that this year Santa will complete his "brower family" ornaments and include Kimmie. Matteo loves to find Jay J and Andrew on the tree, not so interested in Auntie and Jason (as he calls him) - sorry. Including Stripe (dog) perhaps would not be asking too much either. Yes folks, there truly is nothing like a homemade ornament, remember that this Christmas/Haunka (butchered the spelling I know) season.

And remember it's never too late to be good, as Santa is STILL watching and coming in......4 days!!!
