Well after our festive and exciting New Year's Eve (in bed by 8:40!), we were still in the partying mood and headed to Grandma and Gramps' house for some more celebration. To our delight we got to enjoy the first day of the New Year with (from L-R) Aunt Janis, Poppi Lou, Aunt Lois, Oma and of course our cherished Grandma.
Matteo rung in the New Year by rotting his brain watching cartoons with JayJ. Sadly Mommy allowed this to occur, look at the shear boredom in his eys, can you smell the brain cells dying? :-)
And of course, what party would be complete without some delicious desserts from Grandma's house? Here Andrew and Matteo are sampling the M&Ms. But please take notice of how handsome Matteo looks in his button up shirt and vest. Gramps cannot understand the concept of a vest sweater, but clearly when you see how adorable it makes a toddler, it make you want to run out and buy one for yourself :-)
And Dear Amy, Kimmy does exist, she has certainly aged. She is now the official biter in the family, having bitten Andrew on New Years Eve and a couple of other times previous. Below is her picture - she does look pretty in pink and even if she didn't I wouldn't tell her for fear of bein bit :-)
