9 months!

Fresh off her nap and weighing in at 19.15 lbs. , 29 1/2 inches (90 % for height),
our NINE MONTH OLD CHLOE MAY!!!!

Improtu visit

Today after soccer Matteo asked (at 11:30 AM) - if Grandma could come over. Well mommy was tired of telling Matteo no all the time, so let someone else tell him no, so I told him to call Grandma and ask and that is just what he did - to which Grandma said "not today" and Matteo said, "no this day" (meaning today) - this went back and forth many times before Matteo finally understood said goodbye handed Mommy the phone and proceeded to cry and howl...because he missed Grandma.

Grandma called back 2 minutes later, asked to speak to Matteo and said "I'm coming Matteo, I'm coming Matteo" and by God she did - arriving at 2:45 PM and staying until almost 7 PM! :-) How great is Grandma and her driver Gramps :-)

Chloe enjoyed some time with Gramps.

Matteo was more than happy to sit and read calmly next to Grandma (after bicycling to the park and meeting some new "friends").

Even Chloe May let Grandma hold her ---well until Mommy walked in the room of course :-)

We all felt this way (see below)....


Truly - shouldn't we all model ourselves after Grandma and Gramps' selflessness? As we always tell Grandma, the best present she can give us is her time and today she gifted us just that.

Wood and Beach

Great news, Daddy worked on the wood pile this weekend - - 9 hours today and about 4 hours yesterday DONE. Chainsawed, split, and stacked...and cleaned up...oh wait the neighbor just offered us 2 big oak trees (look for future blogs). haha.

Later in the day Chloe May enjoyed her first trip to the beach :-) A balmy 63 degrees.

Daddy took a break from the wood to enjoy some family time.

And clearly confusing snow with sand, Matteo made an angel.



I do believe I should have given him a bath tonight ("should have" being the key words).

Sunny Days

After all the wind and rain we have been experiencing this week, the Heavens smiled upon us and returned the sun --- Yeah!!!!

Chloe was pleased with this as she got to try out a new outfit (obviously NOT one of Matteo's!).
