Daily posts (almost) of our life here on the Lane.
If we keep it simple, laugh frequently and smile often, our day was a successful one.

Nursing
Blogged by:

Funny story, I went to a friend's gathering today - actually I only knew the hostess and her sister and their children of course. So I was in the living room off the kitchen speaking to the hostess' sister about nursing (we were both nursing our children). Actually we were whispering about it or speaking in a low tone.....anyway one of the mother's at the part was talking about an "adult" (follow me) toy that she had ordered! Now I was in the living room off the kitchen with Matteo and 2 other young kids and though they may not have known what she was speaking about....I came home that night and thought it odd that here we were whispering about nursing and then her topic of converation in the company of babes! Sometimes I wonder about today's world..............

Visiting Day

This Christmas was the year of the dinosaur and dragon for Matteo. Not sure why he has to line them up, where they are going or why Daddy feels the need to photograph it (this isn't the only picture), but here they are :-)
Today we traveled up to see cousin Jesse - who was good enough to share cartons and cartons of clothes with Chloe May ! Thanks cousin Jesse.

Then we traveled the short distance from Jesse's house to visit Grandma and Gramps and our cousins and to share some Christmas time with them!
Auntie bought Matteo a Komodo Dragon....good job Auntie, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE ASKED HER FOR..and she did it all on her own (if you knew Auntie you would know what a huge accomplishment this is)...... why Daddy felt the need to photograph him is beyond me.. but alas he is now part of the family (today Matteo informed me the komodo dragon is mommy to 4 of Matteo's baby frogs....).

Christmas morning I
Blogged by:

Before the boys arose Christmas morning, Chloe and Mommy awoke early and enjoyed some girl time together...... no I wasn't naked, just Chloe as I was giving her her medicine.
What made my holiday extra special.....Daddy putting lights around the back door for me...not sure why it reminds me of those people who live in co-ops and decorate their porches :-) and I love it. Also, when I would look out the back window, I would see the christmas lights of our neighbors and feel so happy, so I wanted to return the smile to them...I hope it worked :-)
