Full Steam Ahead!

Well it's that time of year again - DAddy and Matteo took to riding the trains today!!

Not a real train, but a smaller version of a real train :-) (think the tv show Silver Spoons and you are right on key).

But before boarding time, Daddy and Matteo ran into our friend Caleb and his family (sorry to have missed you Adel).

And as any good conductor knows, you have to be sure the train is in working order before you ride it. Here Matteo and some new friends are checking out the trains, and whatever else you do to ensure a safe ride.

FINALLY--ALL ABOARD!!!!! Daddy and Matteo took to riding the train! I am sure Matteo had more fun than the look on his face, but alas the only pic I have of the two of them.

And what did Mommy do? Some much needed shopping and especially I got Matteo his winter coat- - check that off our To Do List.

oh....

DAM!

That's right with all the rain we had these past few days, Matteo and Daddy took to building a dam (see sticking up sticks). Our neighbor was very happy in that all the rain water and muck didn't wash up in front of his house :-)

and yes, the next day Matteo decided he wanted to walk barefoot in the water......

though he didn't like it too much!!

Together at last!

Thank Goodness for digital cameras!!!! Can't tell you how many pictures I had to take in order to get a smile from both of them! Really Matteo wasn't the problem, he was tickled pink that Chloe could not keep her head up, however Chloe just wasn't in the smiling mood...but alas perseverance pays off.

Rain rain

Rain rain it's okay if you don't go away because we like to play (in you).

My own little melody as Daddy and Matteo enjoyed some time in their raincoats outside today.

more to come on this rainy day.

After some outside fun, Matteo took to reading in his library....

While Chloe saw the world from a different view.

Family of Four

With September's arrival, also came some cooler weather, hence Chloe got to wear some long sleeves and pants.

And an updated picture of our Family of Four :-) (Matteo is still sleepy from his nap).

happy times.

Surely you didn't think I would let him wear a costume he didn't' like, DID YOU?

He loves "George".

And really, who am I fooling with that cradle? Back into storage it goes, see you with the next baby God willing.

Yup, still a stroller baby :-)
