A low key day today  -

Matteo kept telling everyone it was his lucky day, as he was going to get popcorn later in the evening.  I love when such simple things are a treat for Him.

More presents!

Today Chloe May opened more birthday presents - and all I have to say is "Katelyn what a perfect fit!"

Thanks so much to our Dear Friends Amy & Katelyn for remembering our Dolly from afar and sending her a lovely dress and play doh!  The dress is simply perfect :-)  And I always just think I make Jules read my blog, but who knew Amy was still on board (Adel - she said she might pick up her blog again in the Fall - fingers crossed, fingers crossed!).

Later in the evening (after making an erupting volcano - thanks to our new friend Science Bob), we enjoyed a BBQ at our local neighbors house.  Trampoline, slides, swings and later roasting marshmellows,

a great time was had by all.

25%

Chloe May had her 2 year doctor appointment today - this was one EASY - no shots, she even cooperated when he asked her to open her mouth, etc.  However I was shocked to learn Chloe is in the 25% for weight and height, evening loosing a few ounces since her last appointment in February!

And I'll never forget hearing about our friend Rory start using sentences almost immediately after her 2nd birthday - well it seems as though "2" is a magical number for girls or something.  Seems as though Chloe May has woken up and now utters phrases "I don't know", "over there", "tao home".  I was very impressed.  Her new favorite word is "HEY" - not that I care too much for it, so immediately I start singing "hey hey you're a monkey, you like to monkey around." haha.  Matteo too will sing this and we all end up in giggles. Fun times fun times.

A new day

A house for sale and a baby born - our neighborhood is changing.

As expected,

 though none the easier.

The flowers were poignant - Grandma and our Dear Neighbor Fran of course.

Dorothy hit the nail on the head ::: there's no place like home.
