A day of Firsts

What a day of firsts we had-- all before 10 AM today.

First of all, our Dear Chloe May ROLLED OVER!!! Yes, first time for this.....Daddy keeps saying she is going to be crawling in a couple of weeks...haha, THAT i'm not sure of Daddy, but rolling more and more for sure.

And today was Matteo's FIRST day of story time at the local library :-)



Not sure who Matteo is planning on saving with his lifeguard shirt on, but he DOES pick out his own shirts (I always says long sleeve and he inevitably comes out with short and rather than argue, Mommy just tries to find a matching color for underneath).

Pumpkin Fest

Today we ventured off to a local farm for what is known as "Pumpkin Fest"!!

Below on our first hay ride, Daddy asked the man to take a picture of all "3" of us..... um Daddy....aren't you missing someone? :-)

Then we spent $18 to get into this fun farm with all animals, crafts, music, etc. and Matteo spent over an hour on this train!!! (we could have done that any other day Matteo, lets see some animals). But it made him happy.

Then Matteo spent another hour plus rolling around in the corn :-)

Clearly not so thrilled to be little bo peep.



And alas with a pumpkin in our hand, that was our trip to the local farm today for Pumpkin Fest :-) We hear that they have a pumpkin toss coming up soon to see who can throw their pumpkin the farthest, we might check it out. HAPPY OCTOBER EVERYONE.

2 months!

Happy 2 months our Dear Chloe May!!!

And you just continue to bring more and more joy to our lives :-)

Guess who came to play!?!?

Guess who came for a long overdue playdate today-- Our friends Caleb and Rory and their Mommy Sarah.

First we started out meeting at the library and registering for some library classes this month. The boys played with dinosaurs and checked out some books, while the girls were strapped to their Mommies. Next we took the party back to Matteo's house where we enjoyed some quiet playtime and some snacks (Rory slept in her Mommy's car during this time and Chloe ate). When Rory woke up and Chloe was all set, we took our playdate outside for a walk around the block, which consisted of finding sticks and handing them to the Moms to carry. After that we all went downstairs to play and that is when just "when you didn't think it could get any better it does" fun started!

While the boys busied themselves with cars, the girls enjoyed some tummy time......

And then GROUP PHOTO!!! I love the photo below, Caleb's smile is so contagious, while Rory is looking at her Mommy, Chloe is just trying to keep her head up and Matteo is smiling at Caleb (whom he told me numerous times he loves).

And then the boys and girls separated again with the girls bonding (dont you love Rory's pants)
