Miracles....

Here on Tall Tree we received the most beautiful card today and inside the message was as sweet as could be - - -

"Miracles are worth the wait."

All day today I reflected on this simple yet sweet message and realized how true it truly is. I only wish I did not begin to run short on patience around the 1st and 2nd of August before relizing how truly close we were to our Miracle.

Visitors!

With the work week behind us, guess who came back to visit....GRANDMA (of course Gramps too, but a picture of Gramps awake just isn't as funny as those of him sleeping!).

And Chloe is clearly recovering from the birth, as is Mommy still.

Settling In

With Mommy gone for 3 days, things around the old homestead got a bit screwy.

Below Matteo spent the day running around in Mommy's high heels........

..and pitter patter, pitter patter, Daddy welcomed Chloe and Mommy home from the hospital with a bouquet of flowers :-)

Home Sweet Home

One last picture of Chloe before Big Brother and Daddy come to pick us up and we make that ever so scary first car trip home (though Daddy said he was not scared, Mommy could not get home - to our safe house - fast enough).

All set, dressed and discharged!!! Matteo's excitement speaks for the whole family.

Thank you for all your help Grandma! We will miss you when Gramps comes to get you today.

Ironically, or not so ironically - today was the exact date last year that I had my surgery for my miscarriage and here today I stand bringing home my little girl. Sometimes time ccan be our best friend, you just need Faith.

Visiting hours!

Having never been away from Matteo for more than a few hours, when visiting hours arrived on Tuesday Mommy was more than happy to see her little Matteo. Matteo however did not mind being away from Mommy as much, as it meant he was in charge of Grandma!!!!!!

And yes Grandma enjoying her 6th grandchild - 3rd girl.

Not sure why I expected more than this for dinner...... just glad I didn't order the fish :-)

So delighted to hold my Chloe May after all of these months.
